The Pintail Point Dispersal was held on March 7 with an estimated 400 people in attendance on the first warm day of the spring season! Cattle were sold to 13 states, as far away as Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as all the neighboring states. The final tally on the day was 113 head through the ring for an average price of $3,457, which included embryos and bulls.

Topping the sale at $20,500 was Dirigo-Conant Regan-ET (EX-93), purchased by Jim High and Rusty Herr, from Oxford, PA. Her daughter by September Storm, Pintail Point Rudy *RC, sold for $11,700 to Mike Garrow of Chateaugay, NY. Mike was the volume buyer of the day, purchasing a total of 7 head.

The second high seller at $12,500 was a fancy Baxter spring yearling, Pintail Point B Rhonda. She was purchased by Jeff Woods of Madison, WI. He also purchased her dam, Pintail Point R Goldie (VG-87 2yr), for $9,000. She is a Goldwyn from an EX Durham with 4 generations EX back to Roxy.

Commanding $11,200 was Greenlea SS Caress-Red-ET. A VG-88 September Storm daughter from Yursden Kite Caramac (EX-92). The two time All-American Red & White Nominee sold to Lee Emerson, Middletown, DE. Caress' December '08 heifer by Debonair was purchased by Paul Stiles, Clearbrook, VA, for $5,900.
