We have been involved with farming and Registered Holsteins since 1978, but our decision to buy EDR VI Angie Melvina on March 24, 1992 at the Marsh family dispersal has been the defining moment of our dairy careers.  Developing this cow family has given us a great sense of accomplishment and it just keeps getting better!  With bulls in AI and young cows in high demand, we look forward to working with future generations of the family.

With that said, we are more than just the Melvina cow family.  In the last few years, we have also invested in some other great cow families.  We are also involved in a cattle partnership with neighbor and friend Gerald Schiefelbein.  It is called Golfing Partners with the animals carrying the Golfing prefix and, yes, Gerry and I golf together quite often!  Together we own members of the Elegance cow family and the Arizona cow family from Luck-E Holsteins.
