The selection process is underway for the sale which will include approximately 80 plus lots of high quality deep pedigreed registered Holsteins primarily from throughout Michigan and Indiana.  Max Dunseth, HFA Field Representative, and Jason Lamoreaux, CanAm Sales Management, will handle the selection duties in Michigan.  Please feel free to contact Jason Lamoreaux (phone 616-822-0101) or Max Dunseth (phone 269-251-0232) with potential consignments.

Live cattle as well as pick of flush lots will be sold in the Spring Foundation Sale.  In addition to the live sale, the Spring Foundation Sale Online Edition will be held online at Bovinebid.com featuring embryos and genetics from top genomic, show type, and cow families of the breed.  All lots for both sales will be featured in a professional sale catalog.

The sale will be promoted in a state, regional and national advertising campaign.  Also, a Live Auction Webcast w/ Real Time Bidding provided by Bovinebid.com will allow for bidders worldwide to participate throughout the sale.

A sliding scale of commission will be available for those consignors that consign cattle resulting gross sales in excess of $25,000 to the Spring Foundation Sale.

It is up to each and every member to look to consign their best to the Spring Foundation Sale.  We look forward to working with the entire membership on the 2010 Michigan Indiana Spring Foundation Sale.
