LuLu’s maternal sister!
Black Fire Cattle Care was started in the summer of 2000. It is a partnership made up of Bret Bossard and Shaun Merrill. Our main purpose is to satisfy our “show bug”. We take quality care of cattle for various people at the New York Spring show, Mid-state Championship show in Norwich, NY, and at the New York State Fair.
Shaun is a third grade Teacher at Lafayette Intermediate School in Waterloo, NY. He resides in Geneva with his wife Stacy, where they are breeding registered cattle under the Divine Holsteins prefix. Bret is a partner of Barbland Dairy LLC, a 1000 cow dairy, in Fabius, NY where he resides with his wife Johanna. We were both raised being highly competitive in the New York Holstein Association. It is the camaraderie and the connections that we make with other cattle enthusiasts that keep us coming back year after year.
We would like to thank all of our clients, over the last ten years, who have trusted us to care for their best cattle. It is their hard work and devotion at home to breed and raise great cattle that allows us to do what we love to do.
