Annie is one of the most exciting pedigreed cows on the farm!
To compliment this, she also happens to be an outstanding individual in her own right.
She has developed very nicely with depth of rib and width throughout. All this with a very good udder, too!
She is following in the footsteps of her dams in size and stature as she recently measured 63" at the rump!
Annie is bred to Sanchez and due in August.
We now have five Shottle heifers on the farm, and three bulls.
Currently making Jasper pregnancies - the first are due to calve in May.

Convention is almost here! We are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to host you when you travel to Minnesota for the National Holstein Convention. If you've selected Tour West as a Host Day tour stop, we'll see you on the farm! We promise good cows, good people and a great time! For more information on this year's convention, visit www.holsteinconvention2010.com. Visitors are always welcome to stop on by the farm anytime!
The first week in May we attended the dispersal sale of Xcaret Holsteins - Tim & Sue Hoese. Good friends and fellow McLeod County residents, we were hoping to buy into some of the great cow families they've been working with. By the end of the sale Neil added two new individuals to his herd that we are pretty excited about:
Xcaret Rabbit Rae-ET *RC
6/11/09 Advent daughter of Scientific Dharma-Rae-ET (VG-87). Sired by Talent, Dharma Rae is a daughter of Scientific Debutante Rae-ET *RC (EX-92) - All-American 4-Year-Old 2005. Followed by 6 more EX dams including Roxy.
Crescentmead Kite Brandi-ET
3/12/08 Kite daughter of Edgeleh Outside Berry (EX-93). Brandi's full sister is Crescentmead Summer Breeze EX-90, All-American Summer yearling 2006.
Always available on the farm for sale are breeding-age bulls only from the farm’s best individuals. A few of the bulls currently available are listed below. Click on their dam’s name for more information.
