The 1998 All-Minnesota Sr. 2-Year-Old and Minnesota Futurity Winner, Tesk-Holm Whitney
(VG-87 EX-MS), topped the Breeder's Showcase Sale at $9700 on Nov. 19 in Arlington,
WI. This Highlight Mr. Mark Cinder daughter had 2-2 240d 2X 17,812 3.9% 693 3.2% 566
(Inc.) and sold to The Whitney Syndicate, Spring Valley, MN, due in March to Startmore
Rudolph. Her dam is a 2E-91 Tesk with 32,740 3.9% 1,285 3.3% 1071, while the granddam is a
VG-88 DOM by Pete with over 1,200 fat. Tesk-Holm Holsteins, Spring Valley, MN consigned
this fancy show cow. The 77 lots averaged $2778 Clover Mist Farms Dispersal
With a stringent focus on type and transmitting ability, the final chapter of Clover
Mist Farms, Manitowoc, WI closed with a complete dispersal averaging $4033 on 149

Amanda-ET, a 2E-94 EEEEE Walkway Chief Mark daughter with 4-6 365d 3X 41,340 5.8%
2,414 3.6% 1,494 and a National Fat record of 2,143 pounds in 305 days, was purchased by
Jim and Iris Mathers, Ballybeeny Holsteins, Port Perry, Ontario for $40,000. Amanda, who
has sons in AI and embryos sold internationally, is one of five Excellent sisters. Their
dam is the 1986 All-American Aged Cow nominee, D-R-A August (4E-94 DOM) who had lifetime
production of 190,200M 4.4% 8281F 3.3% 4457P in 3,443 days. The next two dams were 2E-90
and 3E-90, respectively. The Clover Mist herd was owned by Jerome and Carol Mullins,
William and Shirley Fessler and managed by Dick and Cindy Breunig.
