Matt and Mandy Nunes and our four daughters – Alexa, Katrina, Julia and Geneva. Both raised in California, Matt is the son of George and Mimi Nunes of Marcrest Holsteins and Mandy is the daughter of Pete and Jean Veeman of Veeman Dairy, now in Oregon. We lived in Oregon for 7 years before moving Michigan in 1997 where Matt managed the herd at The Apple Farm, owned by Dr. Norm and Mary Walter. We relocated to Wisconsin in September 2003.

We are located about 5 miles north of
Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, just 1.5 miles
from Exit 102 off Hwy. 53, and 8 miles
south of Mayerlane Holsteins.
Give us a call-- visitors are always welcome.

When Matt was young, his parents wanted him and his 5 siblings to each have their own prefix. At age 9 his favorite subject in school was science, hence the name “Scientific.”
Like so many people, Matt became an admirer of Roxy at a young age and he had the opportunity to purchase Tony Rae when he was working on the crew at the Hanoverhill sale in 1987, when she was 13 months old. Two years later, we bought her mother TT Roxette at the 1989 sale.
