Despite record snowfall and challenging weather conditions, the Spring Spotlight and Shot At Gold Sales, hosted by VerHage Holsteins, in Allegan, MI featured two high profile Shottle daughters topping the sale. Ri-Val-Re Shtle Wendi-ET, consigned by Ri-Val-Re Holsteins, VG87 VGMS milking 111 lbs. topped the sale at $50,000 purchased by Stanton Bros. Ltd. Ilderton, Ontario, Canada. Second high seller Ri-Val-Re Shtle Caralie-ET VG VGMS milking 120 lbs., also bred by Ri-Val-Re and consigned by Brent Dykema, Ryan Loew, and Tim VerHage, sold to Larry VanHaitsma, Muskegon, MI. Budjon-JK Lou Eventually-ET, 3/2007 Lou from Stormatic East, consigned by Budjon and Keitzman sold for $30,500 to Eventually Syndicate c/o Mercuro, VerHage, Jons, and Borman of Hagerstown, MD. Sale averaged $4960 on 84 lots plus 95 embryos sold for an average of $619/embryo. The sale was managed by CanAm Sales Management Inc. Belding, MI.
