Eurogenes Sale with a record average of EUR 10.260 per lot
The Eurogenes Online Heifer- & Donor Sale 2008 goes down in history as the most successful Eurogenes Heifer Sale until now. All 24 sale animals were sold one day before this Online Sale actually ended for an average price of EUR 10.260!
The Sale topper, a first choice Baxter from Ralma Christmas Cookie VG-89 was purchased for EUR 30.000 by the Germany breeder Mr. O. Rörden. Ralma Christmas Cookie is being regarded as one of the best daughters of Oman in the world out of one of the hottest families of this moment. A Bolton daughter from Cookie her Finley sister was also sold on the first auction day for EUR 15.000.
Top prices were also paid for a very exclusive daughter of Regancrest-HHF Mac from BKB Amanda EX-92. She made EUR 24.500. A first choice Advent grand daughter of Lavender Ruby Redrose EX-96 sold for EUR 20.500 and a heavily contracted Red Carrier Shottle-daughter for EUR 19.000!
The sale attracted much interest. From all over the world breeders logged in to follow this top auction. The 24 lot-numbers were sold for amounts between EUR 3.600 and EUR 30.000 to buyers from 6 different countries for an average price of EUR 10.260 per animal.
