As promised, the Elite Opportunity Spring Sale in Sioux Center, IA was comprised of the very best from Great-Heritage Holsteins, Simple-Dreams Genetics and several guest consignors. Sale hosts Leroy Eggink and Jim Vierhout put together an exceptional group of cattle that attracted bidding from local dairymen and enthusiasts from across the country to result in a final sale average of $4,790 on 100 live lots. The final bid of $13,500 on Lot 14 - Larcrest Chenille-ET was the high seller for the day. The 3/1/07 Lou daughter hails from the Larcrest herd in MN and is backed by Oside Champagne (VG-87) and then Juror Chanel (3E-93). Backed by several VG and EX dams, Raeanna's 6th dam is C Continental Scarlet-Red 3E-95 GMD. The consignment of Jeni Dingbaum and Reid Stransky of MN, Raeanna is now owned by Chris Hongslo, SD and Jim Stoutjesdyk, IA. Three more lots exceeded $10,000.
